Shot at the Martha Graham Dance Studio NYC, this film for BAFTA award-winning composer JANE ANTONIA CORNISH’s Into Silence features New York City Ballet principal dancer ASK LA COUR performing his choreography with SARA MICHELLE MURAWSKI, a principal ballerina with American National Ballet. The full film is one continuous steadicam shot, with alternate angles ghosted over the top. Upon watching playback, ASK LA COUR said, “This looks like how it feels to dance.”
