ABOUT
WHO ARE WE?
The Saline Project is a directing team and multi-disciplinary studio, known for their music video work for artists such as The Cure, Eminem, Gwen Stefani, The Hives, Black Eyed Peas, Mars Volta, Modest Mouse, and The Roots (to name a few), and commercial work for brands such as M&Ms, Samsung, Dunkin Donuts, and Skechers (the last one, a Super Bowl spot).
They have worked with television networks such as MTV, ABC, BBC, VH1, and Vice, and won an Emmy Award for their collaboration with The Discovery Channel. The Saline Project draws from a team of artists and filmmakers with a variety of backgrounds, and are comfortable working in both live-action and animation, often combining techniques to design stunning, unique visual worlds. In addition to music videos and advertising, The Saline Project garnered attention for their cinemagraph-style portraits that have been featured in Wired, Fast Company, Vice, and ABC News.
Looking to the future, The Saline Project is developing several long form projects, including a dramatic television show, a family-friendly animated feature, and a dark-humored comedy show. In the meantime, The Saline Project, headed up by brothers Adam Toht and Ben Toht, continues to partner with creative agencies all over the world to help bring their concepts to life.
After more than a decade in Brooklyn, New York, The Saline Project is currently based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
